On Friday 25 September of 2020, the reopening of Felix Meritis took finally place in the Concert Hall with only 50 people present due to the Corona pandemic. Mayor Halsema performed the opening act by setting a facade video artwork in motion. For the occasion and because of Corona, this was projected on a model of the facade that was set up in the room.
